Soliant Health, a leading healthcare staffing company, is currently seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school district in Newington, CT. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a middle school caseload and make a meaningful impact on students' communication and language skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the school team to support students' speech and language goals
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' Individualized Education Programs

Requirements:

  • Valid Connecticut state license or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Experience working with middle school students preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
