  • Associate's Degree in Instrumentation; OR
  • High School Diploma with 2+ years of relevant instrumentation experience in the petrochemical field

Activities

Experienced in control valve and sight glass rebuilds, strong troubleshooting skills, stable work history, willing to work overtime, respond to off-hour call outs and shift work, cooperative and works well with others to achieve job scope, Instrument pipefitting experience, able to read and interpret P&ID's, Isometrics, and Electrical drawings, climbing and lifting required.
  • Experience in the following:
    • Honeywell TDC 2000, 3000 and Experion DCS equipment
    • Honeywell transmitters
    • ENRAF or similar tank gauging equipment
    • Micro Motion meters, turbine meters
    • Mass flow meters (Panametric, FCI, etc.)
    • Oxygen Measurement: Thermox, Rosemount and Servomex
    • Combustible and Hydrogen Sulfide Detection Systems: Bacharach and M.S.A.
    • P.H Conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen and Streaming Current Analysis: Rosemount, Great Lakes, Kerrigan,/Dupree and Orion
    • Nuclear level instrumentation
    • Understanding of refinery processes
    • Experience using Microsoft Office Products and SAP

Context & Environment

This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting instruments onsite.
