Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Electrical to oversee and manage large-scale electrical projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects, on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage large-scale electrical projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
  • Manage project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure that all aspects of the project are aligned and working towards the same goals.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring that all project deliverables are met on schedule and within budget.
  • Manage project risks and issues, identifying potential problems and taking proactive measures to mitigate them before they have a negative impact on the project.
  • Communicate project status and progress to the project team, stakeholders, and senior management, providing timely updates and ensuring that everyone is on the same page.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards, including health and safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns they may have and providing regular updates on project progress.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical project management, with a strong background in MEP, Electrical Controls, and Electrical systems.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale electrical projects from conception to completion, with a strong focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with project teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Proven ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues before they have a negative impact on the project.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards, including health and safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • PMP or related project management certification is a plus.
