Sr. Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Associate

Our client is looking to fill the position of Pharmaceutical Production. This position will be a 2nd shift role and will be on site in the West Caldwell, NJ office.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide manufacturing and operations oversight for safety, production efficiency, cGMP’s, quality, compliance and customer service.
  • Partner closely with Quality team to ensure production compliance throughout manufacturing cycle.
  • Manage the manufacturing scheduling process to meet expectations by optimizing the use of plant resources to complete assigned tasks on time.
  • Manage labor utilization to assure meeting or exceeding task expectations.
  • Responsible for cost oversight of manufacturing, sanitation and quality.
  • Manage plant performance for operational efficiency.
  • Serve as point person to resolve any operational, maintenance or manufacturing issues.
  • Track product yield as well as material usage and any material loss for reporting.
  • Manage all operations input and output in SAP.
  • Provide training and oversight to Production Operators.


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree (scientific discipline preferred)
  • 5+ years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing with prior leadership experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of cGMPs.
  • Relevant experience working in an FDA regulated environment.
  • Prior management experience with knowledge of hiring, coaching and performance reviews.
