ABOUT THE ROLE

Opportunities for experienced Anaesthetic/PACU and Scrub/Scout nurses to join our team. We are a 4 Theatre complex, Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Oncology surgery are the main focus with a busy emergency 24-hour theatre offering an exciting and challenging environment.

Permanent full time and part time positions, and various fixed term contracts available. Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg, opposite Heidelberg train station. Rotating roster with no night duty unless relieving for leave. (optional) On call only once a fortnight. Education support available and preceptors provided if required

ABOUT YOU

Experience as a Perioperative nurse, minimum 1 year required. Qualification in Perioperative nursing, either discipline, required. Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Interest in women's health, desirable. Able to work all shifts, night shift not required (But available when roster vacancies) Good interpersonal and communication skills.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Provide a current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check (Mercy Health may conduct additional background checks subject to current legislation). Proof of vaccination status consistent with public health orders and with Mercy Health’s policy (includes but is not limited to COVID-19 and seasonal influenza vaccination compliance requirement).
