AECOM is seeking a Landscape Design Intern to be based in Denver, Colorado.

This summer internship position is expected to begin in May 2023.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks
  • Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional
  • Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study
Minimum Requirements

  • Candidate must be currently enrolled and completed one year of study (as of the expected start date) in an accredited university program pursuing a bachelor's degree or master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or Planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe CS (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), 3D modeling (SketchUp), and the Microsoft Office suite

  • Excellent verbal, graphic, and written communication skills

  • Basic knowledge of planting design, landscape materials, applications, and construction methods

  • Enthusiasm for the profession with an ability to effectively manage time and self-edit work

  • Ability to collaborate as part of a diverse studio team

  • Familiarity with Land F/X, Revit, Enscape, Lumion, and Rhino a plus
