JOB DESCRIPTION

The Repair Technician III's work shall be performed in a timely manner under the direction of the Crew Chief or Supervisor while following all NOV Corporate/Company/HSE policies.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Repair and/or rebuild Hydra Rig equipment at Hydra Rig facility.
  • Operate material handling equipment as required, achieves, and maintains fork truck operator certification and use safe working practices as directed.
  • Assist with assembly/disassembly of injectors and tubing reel swivels.
  • Assist with pre-testing and final testing of equipment.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean & organized work area, utilize safe work habits.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 1-year heavy equipment manufacturing or repair experience.
  • Minimum 1-year hydraulic experience, either in manufacturing or repair.
  • Previous work experience in an industrial environment.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
  • Must be willing & able to work overtime as required.
  • Must be able to read & interpret drawings/schematics.
  • Ability to read, understand and apply relevant instructions from NOV procedures.
  • Test equipment for the purpose of fault detection, identify failure criteria and discrepancies with all equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and at times pressured environment, balancing competing priorities.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties.
  • Must possess a willingness to comply with all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Factory environment with large range in temperature changes.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend/stoop, push/pull and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily.
