About the team:

At Sage we understand that each client has a different story, and our mission

truly embrace the idea that each individual encompasses their own set of beliefs, traditions, and
rituals that need to be nurtured and practiced. Each personal care attendant has an extensive
training program focusing on quality of care and quality of life. Our personal care attendants
understand that there is more to a client's day than personal care and that a day is only successful when the psychosocial needs of the client are met.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide personal care assistance and companionship to your assigned client
  • Promote your client's quality of life through meaningful activity and/or conversation
  • Provide light housekeeping and meal prep; Transportation as appropriate
  • Follow care plans/instructions; communicate all changes and concerns with the Sage Home Care Manager
  • Complete an electronic daily shift report 
  • Comply with Sage Eldercare’s Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws and regulations.

Who you are:

  • Must have at least one year of experience working with a Home Care agency
  • Must have experience working with Dementia clients
  • Must have a Driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must be passionate about working with seniors to improve their quality of life

Compensation:

The anticipated base compensation for this position is between $24.78 per hour (+ shift differentials). Offered compensation will be determined based on education and experience.
