About the Role:The QA/QC Manager is tasked with supervising and coordinating all Quality Assurance activities for a POD under construction, ensuring compliance with design and specification parameters.
- Responsibilities:Coordinating with contractors and conducting quality control and safety inspections
- Investigate reports of product quality issues and ensure resolution in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Develop or update procedures for capturing, investigating, and documenting quality issues.
- Monitor risk-management procedures, maintain problem logs, and report issues to managers and product developers.
- Provide training and support to quality assurance team members, covering systems, policies, procedures, and core processes.
- Document quality assurance activities and create audit reports.
- Develop and execute the project-specific QA/QC Plan with scopes of work and work procedures.
Qualifications:Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or minimum three (3) years of experience in construction delivery, quality assurance, and/or building commissioning
- Experience using systems to pull drawings, check submittals and transmittals, working through turnover files, and RFI’s.
- Strong computer skills and a familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
