What you will be doing:

  • Life and fire safety systems performance code and compliance
  • Heating ventilation and air conditioning performance code and compliance
  • Mechanical systems performance code and compliance
  • Working with plumbing electrical central cooling building automation systems
  • Preventative maintenance programming
  • Carpentry duties
  • Kitchen and Laundry PM
  • Engineering Department Safety programs
  • Apply paint to many surfaces including but not limited to walls ceilings and doors
  • Se sandpaper prime and seal surfaces prior to painting
  • Select and buy paint from vendors
  • Wallpaper removal and installation
  • Hardwood refinishing
  • Wall surface repaid
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

  • Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA
  • Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial or residential buildings as an engineer
  • Ability to work both inside and outside in all weather
  • Strong painting skills with an eye for detail and the ability to create smooth consistent and visually appealing finishes
  • Proficiency in accurately matching and blending paint colors to achieve desired results
  • Commitment to safety practices and awareness of potential hazards in the workplace
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team collaborating with colleagues and demonstrating a positive and cooperative attitude
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and tasks ensuring timely completion of projects

Physical Requirements:

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
  • Frequent kneeling pushing pulling
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps
  • Occasionally work off hours to complete tasks in high traffic areas
