We are seeking a visionary Laboratory Quality and MLS Program Director to lead their Medical Laboratory Science program.

Job Summary:

As Laboratory Quality and MLS Program Director you will shape the future of laboratory medicine by leading a prestigious Medical Laboratory Science program while ensuring regulatory excellence and safety compliance. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Lead and evolve the Medical Laboratory Science program in alignment with NAACLS accreditation standards
  • Drive program excellence through curriculum development faculty appointment and strategic planning
  • Oversee safety protocols and compliance for the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology Services
  • Build and maintain relationships with academic and clinical affiliates
  • Manage program budget and resource allocation
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and implement improvements
  • Guide and mentor faculty and students while fostering a culture of excellence
  • Develop and maintain program policies and procedures
  • Process and evaluate candidate applications for program admission
Qualifications:
  • You bring advanced education with a Masters degree in a relevant field
  • Youve developed expertise in laboratory medicine with ASCPBOC or ASCPBOC generalist certification as MLS/MT
  • You demonstrate strong leadership abilities and experience managing educational programs
  • You excel at building collaborative relationships and driving strategic initiatives
  • Youre skilled at program development and curriculum design
  • You have a track record of maintaining regulatory compliance and safety standards
