If you are a Quality Inspector III professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you Based in our Stafford, TX location, you will perform First Article Inspection, dimensional/ GD&T of component during trouble shooting of failed valves, receiving, in process, and final inspection of the parts as per the drawings/specifications.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Adhere to the Company's Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures.
  • First Article Inspection, dimensional/ GD&T of component during trouble shooting of failed valves.
  • Perform Receiving, first article, in process, and final inspection as per the procedures.
  • Dimensional/ GD&T of components during trouble shooting of failed valves/components.
  • Participate in quality audits and inspections, addressing any findings and implementing necessary corrective actions.
  • Perform all product inspections and tests in accordance with established quality standards, inspection plans, and test procedures.
  • Document nonconformance reports with adequate details.


For This Role, You Will Need:
  • High School/GED
  • 3 years of proven ability in Quality Inspection experience
  • Proficient in programming ZEISS CALYPSO or Mitutoyo MCOSMOS or HEXAGON -PC-DMIS and running CMM/portable ARM
  • Proficient in reading engineering drawings and capable to perform inspection
  • Proficient in use of all general Measuring & Test equipment.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Working experience in Assembly/Test of valves (or) Machining
  • CMM /FARO
  • Knowledge of Welding/ NDE inspection ASME codes (I, II, V, VIII, and IX), PED (European Pressure Equipment Directive)
