Associate Veterinarian

Full-time associate veterinarian wanted for a multi-doctor practice in Eastern North Carolina, with an easy commute to the beach or Research Triangle We are a walk-in based practice, allowing for a high medical and surgical caseload. Our staff offers cutting-edge veterinary medical care to companion animals in our facility that was build in 2013. We have five examination rooms, three wet-dry tables, two surgery tables, three anesthesia machines, digital radiography, Toshiba ultra-sound, in-house IDEXX diagnostics, companion laser and paperless medical records using Cornerstone software. Our hospital also offers full-service boarding. After hour emergencies are handled by a local veterinary emergency hospital. 

We are looking for a motivated veterinarian who enjoys a busy caseload, has excellent communication skills, and enjoys working as part of a team.

We are offering a generous benefit package with a salary commensurate with experience, CE allowance, commission, and vacation/sick time. New graduates and externships welcome to apply; mentorship is available. 

Responsibilities include:

• Perform physical examinations, diagnose and treat diseases and injuries. 
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
• Provide preventative care for companion animals.
• Conduct tests, including bloodwork, radiographs, urine analysis, etc.
• Manage cases involving euthanasia of companion animals. 
• Manage records including but not limited to client histories, medications, etc.
• Manage communication with clients and other professionals as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
