About the Role and Riverbank Animal Hospital:

We are looking for a dedicated full-time veterinarian to become part of our multi-doctor facility in Eastern North Carolina. Our practice focuses on walk-in services, providing a diverse medical and surgical workload that ensures top-tier veterinary care for companion animals. Established in 2013, our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with five examination rooms, three wet-dry tables, two surgical tables, three anesthesia machines, digital radiography, Toshiba ultrasound, in-house IDEXX diagnostics, companion laser therapy, and a paperless medical record system utilizing Cornerstone software. We also offer comprehensive boarding services, while after-hours emergencies are managed by a nearby veterinary emergency hospital.

We are in search of a proactive veterinarian who excels in a dynamic setting, possesses strong communication skills, and works well within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations, diagnose, and treat various medical conditions and injuries.
  • Manage both acute and chronic health issues.

  • Conduct diagnostic tests, including bloodwork, radiographs, and urinalysis.
  • Handle cases that may involve euthanasia of companion animals.
  • Maintain precise medical records, including client histories and treatment plans.
  • Effectively communicate with clients and collaborate with other professionals as needed.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
