Responsibilities and Duties

Prepare scale drawings of a wide range of building types including industrial commercial and educational building projects encompassing new construction additions and renovations. Manage client contact for specific projects coordinating with chief Architect. Make field measurements and documentation of existing conditions. Create construction drawing sets for various projects. Some research of building codes building materials construction costs. Some document reproduction / printing and copying. May include correspondence and collaboration with mechanical electrical structural and civil engineering consultants. May include opportunity for construction administration phase site observation.

Qualifications & Requirements

Accredited Associates degree preferred (2 year college or technical school) Two to three years of experience using AutoCAD / Revit software. Three to five years experience with construction project management. (Being involved in the actual construction work or management process) Familiarity with BIM (Revit) and proficiency in Sketchup is a plus. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) software. Strong to excellent keyboarding skills Work experience in an architectural firm is a plus. Strong oral written and graphic communication skills. Basic construction knowledge. Detail oriented. Team player.
