Key Responsibilities:

  1. Preventive Maintenance:

    • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
    • Maintain records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with maintenance schedules.
  2. Troubleshooting and Repairs:

    • Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic issues on production equipment.
    • Utilize various tools and diagnostic equipment to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
  3. Equipment Upgrades and Modifications:

    • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
    • Implement modifications and upgrades to existing equipment to improve performance and reliability.
  4. Safety and Compliance:

    • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential safety hazards and address them promptly.
  5. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and parts used.
    • Report any recurring issues or major repairs to the Maintenance Supervisor for further action.
  6. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with production staff to understand equipment issues and production requirements.
    • Coordinate with other maintenance team members to ensure efficient workflow and coverage.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an industrial maintenance technician preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals schematics and blueprints.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work 3rd shift hours and occasional overtime as needed.
