  • Implement compliance changes via procedural recommendations from risk management.
  • Perform detailed comparisons of various database systems.
  • Provide data storage strategies backup recovery and archival policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 810 years of experience in database administration.
  • Minimum of 23 years of experience in Azure AWS and procurement data warehouse management.
  • Proven expertise in database design mirroring standby Oracle RAC monitoring implementation and administration in Oracle MySQL Postgres MS SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with cloud/virtualized environments (Microsoft Azure and Oracle 18c).
  • Strong understanding of hardware/software and related peripheral equipment.
  • Knowledge and experience with the latest .Net framework Visual Studio Asp.Net with MVC C# LINQ and SQL Server Data Tools (SSIS SSRS).
  • Knowledge and working experience in developing web services and maintaining source code and deploying applications via various technologies such as CVS SVN Jira Confluence.
  • Solid understanding of full system development life cycle federal security privacy and Section 508 compliance requirements.
  • Strong site navigation and user interface design skills.
  • Great communication problemsolving and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Oriented toward customer service and thoroughly trained and experienced in system development and support.
  • Knowledge of NIH environment and enterprise systems is a plus
  • Active NIH Clearance is required for this Hybrid role onsite 2 days a week Tuesday and Thursdays.

  • Responsible for reviews of documentation for style design layout accuracy and editorial aspects

  • Manage tasks and information flow using collaboration software (e.g. JIRA Confluence etc.)
  • Proactively engage with development teams to ensure timely updates and revisions to the documentation based on equipment changes and enhancements
  • Stay up to date with industry standards and trends in technical documentation and recommend improvements and new approaches for enhancing the documentation process

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and convert the information into easytounderstand procedures.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly concisely and accurately and be comfortable asking questions to ensure accuracy.
