Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative routine and emergency maintenance of plant control and networking systems
  • Support operational troubleing system optimization and plant data collection for efficient production.
  • Oversee the selection and installation of plant equipment and controls including system design and digital/og I/O.
  • Provide HMI (Human Machine Interface) development using userfriendly graphics and process diagrams.
  • Design code test and debug control programs for optimal plant operations.
  • Manage relationships and deliverables with external controls vendors.
  • Elish and maintain controls system standards including a maintenance plan for aging equipment.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between IT and plant operations to maintain network performance and security.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive doentation and provide training to local maintenance teams.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.

  • Equivalent experience in controls and automation will be considered.

Knowledge Ss and Abilities:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in controls engineering preferably in a food processing environment.
  • Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs Logix programming and related automation systems.
  • Experience with HMI development tools (e.g. FactoryTalk View Aveva InTouch).
  • Strong understanding of automation technologies control system design and troubleing.
  • Project management ss with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal ss for collaborating with diverse teams.
