Fixture Engineer

Job Summary:
Fixture engineer is responsible for develop, evaluate, maintain, troubleshoot all manufacturing equipment/fixtures/devices. Create detailed designs for fixture that hold/assemble product during manufacturing processes.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, evaluate, and deploy manufacturing equipment, devices and fixtures.
- Regularly inspecting and maintaining existing fixtures/Equipment to ensure they function properly.
- Troubleshooting and repairing any issues with manufacturing fixtures/Equipment.
- Documenting maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Develop, write, and update fixture/Equipment manuals, train production personnel to operate equipment.
- Interacting with vendors or suppliers to discuss fixture design specifications.
- Providing clear requirements and collaborating with fixture/equipment vendor on design modifications.
- Ensuring timely delivery of fixtures and resolving any discrepancies.
- Maintain BOMs and maintenance documentation.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
Education and Experience
- Experience with equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in mechanical/manufacturing engineering.
- Degree in Mechanical /Electrical Engineering or related field.
