Job Description

Prepare and present reports and findings by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsObserve safety, review accident/incident reports and assist in investigations, as requiredCoordinate Third party Engineering contracting services from the scope definition phase to the close out document phaseProvide regular updates to internal customersMaintain the company's technical documentation and consult on relevant findingsProvide technical support to the project management group, from the feasibility study phase to the coordination of the final acceptance tests, ensuring the technical quality, as well as ensuring the correct technical documentation after changesEstablish the minimum technical requirements necessary to purchase or modify equipment and/or systems by maintaining technical standards based on national, international, or corporate standards, incorporating new technologies whenever necessaryLead, support, participate in, and develop improvement programs and project groupsSupport management in optimizing quality, cost, availability, and performance of equipmentAble to travel up to 15%

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related studyMinimum 5 years experience in Civil/Structural Engineering in a manufacturing environment. Experience working in the steel industry highly preferred.Knowledge of strip quality measuring systemsIndustrial process automation systems including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)Motor Control utilizing Variable Frequency Drives, including regulation via PLC systemsIndustrial communication systems, such as LAN systems, Profibus, Profinet, ProfiSafe, Wireless Networking What's on Offer
