Responsibilities


•\tArchitect, develop and test high performance scalable solutions for bioinformatics.


•\tDesign and implement new algorithms and schemes to leverage flash-based storage.


•\tDevelop tools to deploy and manage large distributed systems and to monitor and improve system efficiency.


•\tIntegrate and test user-facing features using front-end libraries.


•\tCollaborate with other teams to optimize solutions.

Basic Qualifications


•\tMinimum B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; M.S. a plus.


•\t3+ years of programming experience in C/C++, Java, JavaScript, Python or similar programming language

Preferred Qualifications:


•\tExperience with industry or academic research in building large-scale distributed compute/storage systems.


•\tDomain knowledge in fault tolerance and data replication.


•\tGood understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel processing technologies.


•\tExperience in Golang and is a plus.
