Role

Red Cell is seeking an Office Manager to oversee administrative tasks and office procedures. This role involves creating a positive work environment, ensuring organization, communication, and safety standards.

The responsibilities of the Office Manager include managing office supplies, greeting visitors, scheduling meetings, maintaining office cleanliness, and providing administrative support. The ideal candidate should have a strong office management background, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in office software.

The Office Manager plays a crucial role in office efficiency and process enhancement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office operations such as mail handling, inventory management, supplies, and office organization.
  • Provide support to office visitors for a welcoming experience.
  • Order and restock supplies, including food and beverages.
  • Coordinate catering for office meals and events.
  • Communicate with facility management vendors.
  • Ensure facilities maintenance and compliance with regulations.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and seek cost-saving opportunities.
  • Adhere to office budgets and track expenses.
  • Develop and update office policies for compliance and organizational goals.
  • Provide technical support to staff for office equipment and IT systems.
  • Assist in new hire onboarding.
  • Plan in-house or off-site activities.

Requirements and Skills

  • Required to work on-site in McLean, VA five days a week.
  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or Administrator.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and office machines.
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to propose improvements.
  • Capability to lift 25 lbs.
  • High School degree required; additional qualifications are a plus.
