\tThe primary responsibilities of this role, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, are to: \r

\t\tUnderstand, follow and participate in the upkeep of Bayer electrical norms, practices, standards, guidelines, and procedures staying current with industry standards, technology and improved safety methods;\r
\t\r
\t\tProvides equipment support for the maintenance of area process operations; identifies, evaluates, specifies, and selects process equipment to ensure the reliable and safe operation of the assigned assets;\r
\t\r
\t\tEnsure the operability, reliability, and integrity of the assigned assets;\r
\t\r
\t\tProvides support for electrical distribution systems and infrastructure projects within the Muscatine facility including switchgear, transformers, transmissions, arc flash and monitoring;\r
\t\r
\t\tUnderstanding of electrical infrastructure voltages ranging from 480V to 13.8KV;\r
\t\r
\t\tManage complex turn-arounds of the assigned assets;\r
\t\r
\t\tSupport the coordination and scheduling of assigned plant safety and reliability inspections;\r
\t\r
\t\tReview results and support plan, design, and execution of necessary repairs and/or modifications to resolve discrepancies identified by the Electrical Reliability group;\r
\t\r
\t\tSupports and participates in root cause analysis, asset criticality analysis and failure mode and effect analysis studies to improve reliability of the area equipment; \r
\t\r
\t\tEvaluate and provide electrical engineering and/or project management services with respect to electrical infrastructure ensuring the achievement of project and operational objectives within the full life-cycle of the project;\r
\t\r
\t\tSupport effort for identifying, evaluating, and implementing equipment and process modifications to eliminate deficiencies and bottlenecks, and process problems including motors, instrumentation, control and heat trace systems, networking and SAP;\r
\t\r
\t\tWorks with OEM suppliers, local vendors and the stores to develop appropriate sparing strategies, while effectively utilizing Bayer resources;\r
\t\r
\t\tAssists compliance with safety and environmental requirements and engineering standards regarding equipment and NFPA70e;\r
\t\r
\t\tComplies with site safety rules and actively works to improve safety through coaching or engineered improvements;\r
\t\r
\t\tAssist with maintaining the following equipment documentation: equipment descriptions, spare parts, equipment lists, histories, manuals, flow sheet documentation, drawings, etc;\r
\t\r
\t\tProvides equipment-specific technical training on the operation and maintenance of process equipment in process operations; supports start-up of equipment and unit operations; improves equipment performance to enable best practices in site operations;\r

\t\tPromotes continued development of self and area personnel through peer coaching and providing constructive feedback;\r
