Construction Project Manager

A construction firm in Kaneohe is immediately looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to supervise a construction project from start to finish. In this role, you will organize and oversee the construction process and ensure project stages are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of related experience, a valid driver's license with reliable transportation, and familiarity with construction/project management software.

Hours
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Location
Kaneohe, Oahu

Responsibilities
  • Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
  • Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed.
  • Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
  • Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in construction with in-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with construction/project management software.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • A team player with leadership abilities.
  • Personal vehicle and valid driver's license required.
