Room Service Reservations - Food Concierge

At Cheeca Lodge and Spa, our dedication to enhancing the guest experience is relentless. As part of our ongoing commitment to excellence, we have introduced a new role within our 4-diamond-rated resort—the "Food Service Concierge". Part sales and part administrative, this position will be an integral addition to our room service and in-room dining department.

In this pivotal role, the Food Service Concierge will act as a bridge between our guests and remarkable dining in-room dining to making reservations for any of our 5 restaurant outlets. Your primary responsibilities will include taking precise food and beverage orders, managing dining reservations, upselling opportunities, and fulfilling the unique role of a food concierge. This position is designed to meet all dining needs with the utmost efficiency and personalized attention, ensuring an enhanced guest experience.

Responsibilities:

Take orders for room service and process them accurately and swiftly.
Assist guests in making dinner reservations at the resort's dining facilities.
Greet guests in the Lobby - interacting with them, handing out information, and introducing them to our restaurant concepts
Act as a food concierge, offering recommendations and addressing any dietary restrictions or preferences.
Answer phone calls promptly, providing polite and effective communication.
Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
Ensure all interactions with guests are conducted in a manner that is consistent with the high standards of Cheeca Lodge and Spa.
Qualifications:Not shy - outgoing, friendly, interactive - sales persona.
Previous experience in hospitality, especially in food service or reservations, is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
