As the program manager overseeing and executing the technical delivery and data capabilities for Truist's Cloud Group, you'll have a significant impact on the risk/control and overall roadmap and maturity of Truists' Cloud presence, spanning Azure, AWS, and various SaaS/PaaS providers.

You'll be responsible for working across various internal groups, briefing senior leadership, and holding individuals and organizations accountable for various deliveries. You'll define key elements of the program strategy, including refining ideas into measurable objectives, defining and reporting on KPIs and KRIs, and maintaining the program delivery materials with support from workstream PMs.

This is a visible and upwardly mobile role, with significant exposure to senior Truist leadership. The successful candidate will bring strong communications, analysis, empathy, and willingness to hold others accountable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop and maintain program design, delivery material, strategic content, and KPIs/KRIs, standards, and technology in support of Truist's Cloud & Automation portfolio. Create and implement processes and procedures to support the data capabilities needed to respond to various stakeholder requests for Cloud data.
  2. Provide subject matter expertise in the planning and execution of cloud program and data management activities such as data aggregation, cleansing, cloud program and data management, data quality, data privacy or records management.
  3. Drive solution design and execution of multi-pronged cloud governance efforts that span across platforms and business/technology areas to address enterprise data needs.
  4. Implement strategic data governance capabilities by working with business and technology partners to document requirements and create action plans.
  5. Perform oversight and inspection of critical cloud program and data management practices for adherence to established policies and procedures
  6. Identify delivery and cloud data issues and work with technology, risk, and business partners to triage, track, communicate, mitigate, and remediate the issues to closure.
  7. Support the production of metrics and measures to track progress and adherence, escalating as needed to various committees for visibility and program accountability.
  8. Understand and integrate relevant regulations and industry trends into work plans, exploring emerging frameworks and assessing feasibility using proof of concepts.
  9. Collaborate closely with peer teams to ensure coordination, synergy and seamless overall execution.
  10. Champion and drive improvement in enterprise cloud program and data capabilities best-practices throughout the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Undergraduate degree in either computer science, analytics, data engineering, finance or equivalent degree.
  2. At least 3 years of experience driving enterprise data strategy, data execution, data engineering or software delivery
  3. Expert problem-solving skills and being able to define detailed strategies
  4. Experience in financial services or payments industry
  5. Experience in meeting regulatory obligations and operating in a highly regulatory environment on the cloud
  6. Experience in building a high performing team

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other graduate or advanced-level certification
  2. History of effective performance within shared service, matrix, or federated environments
  3. Internal or external consulting experience, Transformation/Program delivery
  4. Experience with formalized organizational assessment practices (e.g. Capability Maturity Model), including implementation of recommended improvements
  5. Knowledge of service management, program management and data tools and platforms used for managing, storing, querying, testing, loading and transforming data (e.g. Excel, Tableau, ServiceNow, Aris, Clarity, Rally (Version One).
  6. Experience building/leading Agile (Scaled Agile Framework, Kanban/SCRUM) delivery teams and organizations following Agile models
