Our Megadyne and AMMEGA US Specialty team are currently looking for a Plant Controller.

As a Plant Controller, you will be responsible for Business Area finance strategy and organizational alignment for the Charlotte NC, and Buford GA manufacturing plants. Provide accurate and objective counsel on business issues and offer technical and experience-based advice to the management team while managing strategic projects related to business transformation and operational excellence. You will report to the Head of Finance and be part of the Finance team. This on-site position is based in Buford, GA, and Charlotte, NC. Travel is required for this role.

A day in the life of the Plant Controller can look like:

  • Manage the Financial Operations of the Charlotte, NC and Buford, GA plants in close cooperation with the Plant Managers, VP Regional Finance and VP Business Area Finance.
  • Documenting business processes, overseeing the application of accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Support in preparing and formulating annual budgets and reforecast with a focus on maximizing profitability and cash-flow.
  • Support in preparing the materials for the Business Reviews with the Top Management.

Shared accountabilities include:

  • Coordinate and review of all operational reporting processes, weekly sales/forecasting, month end financial reports and other management reports.

We are looking for you to have:

  • Proven track record as a Financial Controller or similar financial position
  • Proven experience in the implementation and maintenance of Standard Costing systems.
  • High level of financial competence: management of P&L, Balance Sheet, budgets, capital expenditure, and development/analysis of business cases.
  • Hands-on and prepared to be part of the team to support business changes; assertiveness, exceptional work ethic, integrity, continuous-improvement orientation.
  • A strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable with working alongside various stakeholders in a matrix organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in the business finance field, master's degree preferred.
