About the Position: This position is located in the Department of Primary Care, Social Work Section, at West Point, NY.



Duties
  • Interview victims, offenders, children and Family members regarding allegations of abuse or neglect.
  • Conduct assessments to explore the development of behavior patterns, mechanisms, and symptoms.
  • Obtain relevant data to compile information and present for a determination of abuse or neglect to the FAP Case Review Committee (CRC).
  • Determine the facts concerning patients' problems and the underlying causes to assess the needs of the individual and the Family.
  • Develop treatment plans based on identified problems, psychosocial factors and treatment capabilities.
