Purpose Statement



The Services Intern position will be an active partner in the Services Group to support our engineering and customer teams.

Responsibilities include creating and revising spreadsheets in Excel, using and reviewing 2D drawings, interaction with Customer Account Management teams, online research of cutomer new & existing customers in database, data analytics/mining to uncover additional sales opportunities.



Job responsibilities and tasks



Participate in continuous improvement teams with the goal of creating further efficiencies for stakeholders Update Install Base data on exisiting and new customers. Assist Services Management with inventory management parameters Assist Customer Account Managers to organize data on servers and uploading physical documents to the server Cross department support, example Quality, Engineering, Assembly, Procurement & Manufacturing. Other duties as assigned

Education, professional experience and qualification preferred/required



Student in engineering, IT, business or similar disciplines Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, etc.). Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Physical and Mental Qualifications



Position performed indoors in an office environment, however, periodic visits to the manufacturing plant facility will be beneficial to completing tasks, which includes exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels, dust, dirt, fumes, welding machines, heavy duty magnets and manual/remote controlled devices using radio signals. Physical conditions for position are to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, grasp, ascend/descend stairs, possibly lift up to 50 lbs. Must have visual acuity, good mobility, good hearing, manual dexterity, good balance, ability to excel during a normal 8-hour work day, and wear personal protective equipment when required. All tasks performed with reasonable accommodations.
