My team and I are partnered with a mid-sized General Contractor based in the MetroWest area of Boston (about 30 miles west of the city) They are an up and coming GC in the health care, life science, and corporate interiors space. Most of their business comes from 98% repeat business and they are named among Boston's Best Companies To Work For, for it's league as a mid-sized boutique-style GC.
Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for:
Collaborate with the PX to plan, execute, and close construction projects.Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets.Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.Assist in monitoring project progress, identifying issues, and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.Support the preparation of project status reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.Assist in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.Contribute to project financial management, including budget tracking and cost control.Participate in regular project meetings and communicate project updates to team members.Comfortable in client-facing meetings - shows high potential as a future PMMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
The Assistant Project Manager should have:
2-5 years of relevant APM experience at a Commercial General ContractorMotivated junior construction professional capable of keeping up in fast-paced environment and does well in client-facing situationsForward-thinking with the desire to continue learning and growingBachelor's Degree in a construction-related fieldStand-out communication skills | Verbal & WrittenCommercial interiors, healthcare, and/or life science project experience is ideal What's on OfferThe Assistant Project Manager may receive:
