Responsibilities:The Human Resources Labor Relations Business Partner (HRLRBP) proactively provides assistance and education in identifying and resolving labor relations throughout CHS for all campuses. Advises on applicable NLRB regulations, as well as local, state, and federal employment and labor laws and regulations. Investigates and prepares responses to union grievances. Facilitates Labor Relations education and guidance for team members and leadership. Participates in the design, administration, and training of policies and procedures that support CHS's priorities and compliance with related laws and regulations that pertain to HR. Under the direction of HR Leadership, the HRLRBP may be involved in the coordination and facilitation of HR related organizational change through work redesign and restructure initiatives. May be assigned to complex projects that last a significant period of time and requires the ability to work flexible hours. Develops and maintains partnerships throughout the HR service line, to deliver value-added services to management and team members in accordance with the needs and objectives of the organization. The successful HRLRBP will demonstrate a professional objectivity when supporting both leaders and employees and act as a change agent for the organization. Qualifications:Education• Bachelor's Degree required Experience
• 3 years of diverse human resources, employee relations, or labor relations experience required
• Experience working with collective bargaining units, labor relations negotiation and administration preferred
• Human Resources experience in an acute hospital healthcare setting preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant HR background may be substituted for the Bachelor's Degree and experience requirement Licenses and Certifications
• PHR - Professional in Human Resources preferred
• SPHR-CA - Senior Professional in Human Resources-California Certification preferred
• CLRP - Certified Labor Relations Professional preferredDisclaimer:
