Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the manufacturing industry and a proven track record of scaling products from prototype to full-scale production. This role is critical in ensuring our manufacturing processes are efficient, cost-effective, and of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the production team to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing operations.Develop and implement production schedules and plans to meet company objectives.Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.Work closely with the engineering and design teams to transition products from prototype to full-scale production.Develop and implement scalable production processes for new products.Establish and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.Implement and oversee quality assurance processes, including regular audits and inspections.Recruit, train, and manage production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure the timely procurement of materials and components.Develop material plans to ensure a smooth production process.Monitor and report on key production metrics, including efficiency, output, and quality.Use data to drive decision-making and identify areas for improvement.Develop and manage the production budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role within the manufacturing industry; robotics industry is a plus.Proven experience in scaling products from prototype to full-scale production.Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.Experience with quality control and assurance processes.SkillsExcellent leadership and team management skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software.Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain management.Nice to HaveKnowledge of robotics manufacturing processes and technologies is a plus.Understanding of automation and robotics systems in a production environment.Culture:
