Summary

The position is located at one of the Service Units within the Billings Area Indian Health Service. The primary purpose of this position is to provide registration and eligibility services which are the key point of interaction with patients to obtain and process demographic and insurance information for Alternate Resources, patient registration, Purchased Referred Care (PRC) services, and other pertinent health information.



Duties
  • Interview patients to obtain pertinent patient reqistration information.
  • Determine patient health care eliqibilitv.
  • Complete clerical and technical tasks to support the medical and nursinq staff
  • Maintain confidentiality and knowledge of health information management concepts
