NCH is transforming into an Advanced Community Healthcare System(TM) and we're proud to: Provide higher acuity care and Centers of Excellence; Offer Graduate Medical Education and fellowships; Have endowed chairs; Conduct research and participate in national clinical trials; and partner with other health market leaders, like Hospital for Special Surgery, Encompass, and ProScan.JOB SUMMARYThe Stress Testing RN provides supervision of the Cardiac Exercise Test to include the following: Echocardiography, Pharmacological Stress Echocardiography, Exercise Stress Testing, and Stress Radionuclide Cardiac Imagine (exercise and pharmacological) under the direct supervision of a physician.This position records and evaluates the professional nursing care provided to patients in the Nuclear Imaging and Cardiology Department for ages 18 to geriatrics.Serve as RN supervising exercise tests, stress echocardiography, pharmacological stress echocardiography and stress radionuclide cardiac imaging.In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system.Knowledge of radiation safety and equipment safety.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
