Our team drives the execution and continuous improvement of critical automation, robotic, and software which serves Amazon Fulfillment Network sites around the world.
We do this by building automated solutions to handle things that technology does well while relying on people to handle things that humans do well.
Our environment is global and complex with a variety of software and systems, including industrial machines and protocols.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 5+ years of noninternship professional software development experience
- Ability to travel up to 50% and eligible for international travel
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience writing technical documents
