Where the Chemistry Happens...
The Production Operator is responsible for processes that utilize both batch and continuous operations. We are seeking Chemical Plant Operators that have both operational and technical experience. The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of strong safety and environmental performance. Examples of operational duties include; operating the DCS, issuing permits, sampling, troubleshooting, preparing equipment for maintenance and subsequent operation, and inspections.
As a Production Operator, You Create Chemistry By...- Assuring standards of safety, environmental, team and individual performance are met in a high-performance team-based organization.
- Performing Work Permitting process and prepare equipment for daily maintenance activities.
- Training new employees on unit activities.
- Utilizing Microsoft Office software, Process Distributive Control Systems (DCS) and other computer software.
- Working with potentially hazardous materials, at high elevations, in confined spaces, and outdoors in all types of weather.
- Participating in emergency response teams.
- A High School Diploma or GED or 3 years of operations experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- A valid driver's license (possess and maintain).
- Experience that demonstrates strong behaviors in safety and environmental performance.
- Experience with minor maintenance conducted by operations
- Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift.
