Position Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to prepare and present financial analysis, managerial reports, and annual budgets. Will be responsible for building data analytic integration into our Marketing and Sales financial data and process by bridging the gap between the existing IT data sets and the FP&A team. This role will be responsible for delivering insight across the sales and marketing areas of the business that can be used in profitability analysis, forecasting and strategic and long-range planning.

Responsibilities:

1. Understand the data available and be able provide solutions to analysis and modeling requests from business leaders.

2. Ensuring data is cleansed prior to providing for analysis and modeling.

3. Advanced model development to track and monitor performance vs expectations (forecasting).

4. Owning the development of predictive models that improve decision making around product, pricing, and promotion.

5. Assume a lead role in the preparation of the annual budget and provide periodic analysis of budget variances in accordance with budget calendar.

6. Ad-hoc financial analysis based on the needs of the business.

7. Prepare and review (where applicable) cash flow models related to capital projects and programs with limited supervision.

8. Assist in the development of financial analysis by sharing knowledge and working collaboratively.

9. Independently monitor performance of various test programs with different operating divisions

10. Prepare and review (where applicable) managerial reports and key performance indicators with limited supervision.

11. Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Working Relationships:

This position will require close partnership with FP&A, IT, and category management & marketing teams

Requirements

Responsibilities:

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, or Accounting required or relevant work experience

Preferred Education:

MBA/MSF/MSA

Minimum Experience:

2-4 Years experience working in a Corporate Finance or Financial Planning & Analysis role

Preferred Experience:

3-5 Years experience working in a Corporate Finance or Financial Planning & Analysis role

Job Benefits

Travel: No travel required

Hours & Conditions: Typically, Monday – Friday, 8+ hour days in an office setting. Currently role reports to SSC in Westborough, MA three days a week with two days remote – subject to change.

Physical Requirements: Minimal physical effort required, sitting / standing at computer for extended periods of time. Ability to maneuver and lift up to 10 lbs.
