Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Aerospace Scientist to work with the Re-entry Systems / Re-entry Vehicle of Minuteman III (MMIII) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM).

Responsibilities include:

Applies physics, science, electrical engineering, and systems engineering discipline for the sustainment of the MM III missile and corresponding support equipment, test stations, processes, and materialsPerform trades studies, integration engineering, review of technical data packages, failure analysis, and trend projectionSupport government and BAE Systems leadership with program management and engineering to ensure the health of the MM III Weapon System

Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics from an ABET accredited program2+ years of engineering related experienceProficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPointSystems engineering processes experience Familiarity with technical data packagesExperience in CAD modeling and/or simulation software Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills CBM experience, especially RS/RV specificReentry, Guidance and Navigation, Inertial Measurement, Propulsion, Ordnance, and/or battery technology experienceICBM Field MaintenanceDepot RepairConfiguration managementLogistical AnalysisElectrical schematics and diagnosticsPay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $85950

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
