Herzing University's Online Division is seeking an adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate business courses

What you need?

  • A graduate degree in Economics or a related field is required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and other specialized areas of economics.
  • Ability to analyze economic data, use statistical software, and interpret economic trends and policies.
  • Commitment to student success and academic excellence.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Instructional Skills: Competence in conveying complex concepts in an understandable and engaging manner, including the use of examples, analogies, and technology.
  • Educational Technology: Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), online teaching platforms, and digital resources to enhance learning.
  • Empathy and Patience: Understanding and patience to support students with diverse backgrounds and learning paces.
  • Communication: Ability to convey complex ideas simply and effectively in a virtual setting.
  • Engagement: Skill in fostering interactive and engaging online learning environments.
  • Adaptability: Capacity to adjust teaching strategies based on student feedback and evolving tech tools.
  • Time Management: Effective planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks in a remote teaching setting.
  • Feedback: Ability to provide constructive feedback to enhance student learning.
