Job Summary and Qualifications
  • You will ensure high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/ department. As a Manager, you will monitor and evaluate the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures, and hold staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives
  • You will lead in a way that inspires commitment to the vision, mission, and values of the organization, and implement evidence based employee engagement practices
  • You will support the achievement of internal/ external benchmarks, accreditations and designations and manage nursing practice and unit operations
  • You will support efforts to reduce variation in clinical practice and improve efficiency, effectiveness and cost and review various feedback mechanisms and helps identify opportunities to improve customer/ patient satisfaction
  • You will manage staff scheduling and maintain staffing in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines. You will identify cost reduction opportunities and implements actions to achieve savings
What qualifications you will need:
  • Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing, BSN required
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or related health field preferred (or actively in progress)
  • 1+ years of experience in healthcare required
  • 1+ years of experience in a leadership role preferred
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in Nevada, in accordance with law and regulation is required National Nursing
  • Certification in Specialty or Nursing Leadership is Preferred
