Head of Market Access Analytics

The Head of Market Access Analytics will create a roadmap and define the strategic vision for their community driven by overall business priorities. You will have a deep understanding of how argenx functions, as well as how argenx can deepen Market Access insights. You will build close relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that the community's effort is aligned with overall strategy as well as manage dependencies with other team's functions while identifying, building and managing strategic partnerships across the different teams. You will work closely within your community to ensure business value and that user feedback is translated into new developments when necessary.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of analytical insights/product in response to the market access landscape and trends
  • Evolve the analytics methods and capabilities from core dashboard reporting to advanced methods, enabling better decision-making for USMA teams
  • Respond to emerging functional needs and serve as thought partner to Head of Market Access, FRM Leadership and their communities
  • Support FRM Analytics and closely align with Head of Patient Experience Analytics Lead
  • Effectively manage multiple external vendor/partner relationships to ensure high quality and insightful deliverables to help manage the business
  • Ability to effectively manage a community combining both argenx and third-party delivery capabilities
  • Establish an innovative culture that fosters the development of objective data-driven approaches to Market Access analytics
  • Creating insights for the business via design and management of core KPI dashboards (with outcome and activity metrics) and advanced analytics products
  • Owning the Market Access analytics product roadmap
  • Facilitating release planning and engaging the userbase via demos and sprint reviews
  • Interfacing with technical teams to support the evolution of the broader argenx tech stack and data products
  • Deliver market, customer, and product insights that are actionable for the team and support the achievement of Market Access goals
  • Lead comprehensive assessment of Market Access analytics and metrics/reporting, to optimize existing and future resources and shape Market Access solutions
  • Inspire, coach, lead and develop colleagues to achieve and grow as individuals and a cohesive community
  • Possess knowledge of payer policies, the role of specialty pharmacies, and be up to date on changes affecting Medicare

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Highly skilled in influencing cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders and with scientific and commercial teams
  • Experience managing digital products and delivery teams
  • Ability to collaborate with users to deeply understand needs and identify and address pain points
  • Extensive knowledge of payer landscape
  • Experience leading agile development, e.g., managing a backlog/release plan, tracking team-level metrics, facilitating sprint planning and reviews
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Adaptive and motivated to build and lead while "rolling up their sleeves" to get it done
  • Solid business, planning and budget management acumen
  • Demonstrated experience in outsourcing key commercial operations functions and effectively managing partner relationships
  • Ability to motivate and lead teams
  • Record of attracting and developing strong talent both internally and externally. Proven ability to grow and develop others
  • Ability to partner with Business Information Systems (BIS) to define systems requirements

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  • BA or BS required, MBA Preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial functions within the biopharmaceutical industry with 5-7 years in Market Access Analytics
  • Understanding of advanced analytics applications across life sciences (e.g., prescriptive HCP & patient engagement) and leading analytics techniques to support those applications
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to effectively define business issues and recommendations
  • Launch experience a plus
