We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Spotsylvania Regional Medical Centers new Free Standing Emergency Department which is part of the nations leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.
HCA Virginia's new standalone emergency room (ER) in Fredericksburg, a department of Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, will be opening in early 2023. The state-of-the-art ER will staff with board-certified emergency room physicians and nurses, 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. Prominently located on Route 3/Plank Road, this nearly 12,000 square-foot facility neighboring Quarles Petroleum, Royal Farms, Lidl and Harrison Crossing. Fredericksburg ER is just eight miles from the Spotsylvania Regional Medical campus.

- 11 private treatment rooms - featuring one trauma room and 10 exam rooms.

Job Summary and QualificationsAs a multimodality CT/Rad Technologist, you would operate CT equipment, to produce cross-sectional images of patients bones, organs and tissue used to diagnose medical conditions. You will prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning the patient to capture optimal images requested by the physician.
- You will accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan and X-Ray equipment.
- Assist the radiologist in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies and all types of care to patients.
- Prepare examination rooms for CT scan and/or invasive procedures, as well as X-Ray.
- Monitor inventory of supplies during room rotation and maintain room cleanliness.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- One year CT and X-Ray Experience.
- ARRT-CT Preferred.
- Basic Life Support Certification.
