Job Summary and QualificationsThe Echo/CV Registered Nurse is to assist the cardiologist in performing Transesophageal Echocardiograms, and Direct Current Cardioversions.
What you will do in this role:
- Help to facilitate and execute Pharmacological Stress Echocardiograms in conjunction with the Chest Pain Nursing staff.
- Assume the role of the patient advocate.
- Exhibit knowledge of patient procedural preparation.
- Utilize initiative, strive to maintain steady level of productivity, display understanding in absolute and relative contraindications prior to all procedures.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- 1 year of RN experience required.
