Alkermes seeks Associate Director of Procurement-Strategic Sourcing in Waltham MA.

Manage global strategic sourcing activities, including develop/implement global strategic procurement plan for sourcing/management across multiple segments; lead/direct strategic sourcing activities; implement policies, best-practices, compliance reporting and financial tracking; work with internal/external partners to facilitate/optimize strategic sourcing process; support strategy driving growth; work with business to develop purchasing strategy that supports strategic plan; lead, develop and manage supply base for spend categories; create/deliver effective budgets (Plans of Purchase); lead/manage team of professional sourcing specialists.


Reqs:

Master's in life sciences or business and 8 yrs exp in procurement/supply chain (in alternative, will accept Bach and 10 yrs), including 6 yrs in biotech/pharma, 5 yrs exp with SAP modules, 5 yrs exp building/implementing business cases, 2 yrs of international exp, and 2 yrs exp managing team; knowledge of advanced RFQ in cross functional environment, managing PowerBI dashboards, and GMP and/or GCP.
