Job Overview and key duties (agile)

IPL's Future Leader Program is seeking qualified individuals to gain valuable experience and develop essential skills for future leadership roles within IPL. This position is ideal for a recent graduate from a qualifying educational institution or program who is eager to learn and grow within the plastics manufacturing industry.

Location: Shelbyville, KY

Key responsibilities include:

  • Rotating through different departments within the IT function to gain exposure to various aspects of the business.
  • Assisting with project management, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support functional initiatives.
  • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Conducting research and market analysis to identify opportunities for business growth or functional improvement.
  • Provide support to senior leaders and managers in executing strategic initiatives and driving operational excellence.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a recent graduate who is enthusiastic about pursuing a career in IT. They should have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
