This position involves a multi-grade career ladder. The major duties listed below represent the full performance level of GS-11.

Obtaining and evaluating environmental data and supporting GEMS program planning and implementation activities;
Applying a working knowledge and a general understanding of environmental laws and regulations to assure compliance with applicable laws and regulation (e.g., for air emissions, wastewater discharge, solid and hazardous waste, fuel and oil storage, and spill prevention, among other areas);
Collecting and evaluating environmental data and compliance using appropriate analytical methods and techniques;
Recommending necessary changes, control measures, best practices, etc.;
Assisting with hazardous waste and residual shipping;
Preparing and conducting briefings and writing reports and letters;
Supporting environmental sustainability initiatives;
Performing related duties as required.

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
