Primary Purpose:

Assist in the transportation of Kerry product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maintain accurate records: for example, BOL's/Packing List and Truck/Trailer Inspection Forms.

2. Ensure every trailer on the yard is sealed daily. 3. Assist with Bulk Flour Operators managing the Bulk Flour Operation.

4. Spot Trailers for loading at Dock Doors.

5. Food safety and quality is Kerry's priority so it's important to adhere to all Food Safety/Quality SOP's while also accurately completing required Food Safety & Quality records.

6. Coordinate with other team members to achieve the highest efficiency and quality of finished goods while working safely.

7. Practice GMPS.

8. Maintain the outside dock areas to ensure they are kept clean.

9. Assist is the warehouse as time becomes available. The above-listed duties are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities or duties required. Incumbents will be expected to perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:

1. Must have a current CDL license.

2. Organizational skills & excellent communication skills are essential.

3. Ability to read, write and communicate in English at a level to facilitate the understanding of the terminology of the job.

4. Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions.

5. Ability to organize and plan ahead to maximize job efficiency and work safely.

6. Ability to strive for excellence in all areas; focus on effective internal and external customer-supplier relationships.

7. Ability to work well with others

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

1. Previous work experience within a food manufacturing and distribution environment.

2. Experience with Dry Goods Tankers, OTR Truck and Yard Truck equipped with PTO, and spotting Dock Doors is preferred.

3. Basic computer experience

Physical Requirements:

Ability to kneel, bend, squat, stoop, carry, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, arm extensions and perform elevated work.

Ability to work in hot, cold or wet environments.

Ability to lift 50 pounds continuously.

Ability to work overtime and use a flexible schedule.

Ability to walk up to 135 feet one way many times a day.

Ability to continuously stand / walk for up to 12 hours.

Ability to climb stairs or ladder.

Ability to operate a Lift Truck

Ability to operate a Yard Tractor
