Position Summary
The Center for Treatment of Eating Disorders in St. Paul includes both an inpatient hospital program as well as outpatient clinic services for patients with eating disorders.

MSW students will be able to learn and utilize evidence based psychotherapies for the treatment of eating disorders. Types of therapy include family based treatment (i.e. "The Maudsley Method"), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Enhanced for Eating Disorder, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for mood and anxiety disorders. Students will be able to gain experience working in an inpatient hospital setting as well as outpatient clinic setting.

Aside from learning clinical skills and therapies, students will be able to learn and obtain experience in advanced case management and hospital social work skills.


Weekly individual supervision will be provided and MSW interns will have the opportunity attend an additional supervision group with other current MSW interns within Children's Minnesota.

MSW interns will also have the opportunity to shadow other therapists and social workers in other departments within Children's Minnesota based on their interests.

Schedule:

Potential schedule will be 2-3 days per week, Monday-Friday and between the hours of 8 AM-4:30 PM. Final schedule is determined by supervisor and supervisee. Weekend and evening hours are not available for this placement.

Required:

2 nd year (clinical year) MSW student

The posted pay range represents rates for a grouping of multiple jobs within a salary grade.

We carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, and organizational needs.

Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Children's Minnesota.


All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of an occupational health assessment, drug screen, background investigation, and compliance with the U.S.
