Summary


The successful candidate will gain valuable hands-on development experience by working within an application development team to build new features for applications used by SRP's Water Customer Services.

What It Takes To Succeed

Preferred skills include familiarity with the following:

  • Microsoft Visual Studio .
NET using C#

  • Experience with web development technologies such as Blazor, ASP.
NET, Web API, and REST

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Basic understanding of software application development, administration, reporting, and security concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Selected candidate must be enrolled in college, preferably in an IT-related curriculum - Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, etc.

- and have completed course work to develop skills appropriate for assignment.

Experience

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

  • Azure DevOps
  • Agile/SCRUM development methodology
  • Basic server administration and IIS experience
  • Familiarity with SRP's flood irrigation service
Education


College level coursework from an accredited institution will be evaluated on an individual basis according to the skill/level to determine if applicable to the position by management.

Hybrid Workplace


SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week.

Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
