Your Opportunity: Travel Tags, a division of Taylor Corporation, is looking for an Estimator to join their team in Inver Grove Heights, MN


Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of the company's products, production equipment capabilities, manufacturing processes, production rates, spoilage rates, and materials while collecting information for proper quotations from other functions as appropriate
  • Utilize Monarch tools to generate estimates
  • Update estimates for live jobs as needed for job plans
  • Obtain outside bids for printing, die-cutting, and other processes as needed
  • Participate in RFQ system upgrades and redesigns
  • Update material costs as scheduled
  • Interact with internal customers to discuss production options
  • Revises estimates as needed due to specification changes, or other factors
  • Assist with analyzing and updating internal estimation standards

You Must Have:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of Estimating experience
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to schedule priorities and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees
  • Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal
